English Sterling Teapot Circa 1833

Found this great example of a English Sterling Teapot, globular form with fine repousse work on eBay today. London mark for 1833, maker's mark JCE with retailer's mark on the bottom, partial hallmarks under the lid. Finely engraved period initial in the cartouche. 4" tall, 8" spout to handle, 14 oz weight. No repairs. I remember the days when my Mother would have me clean our silver before the holidays. This pot would be a excellent gift for mom.
